Reminder: Coronavirus update – GTT is here to support you

Dear Valued Customer,

Our country, Guyana and the rest of the world are going through some of the most trying times in recent history. We want to keep you updated on how GTT is going to help you and your family through these difficult moments.

Our key priority is to ensure that our employees and customers are safe, and we will use social distancing to minimize human contact and thus slow the spread of the virus.

We have made some changes to our operations which will take effect Wednesday March 18, until further notice.
Extension of grace period for bill payment
We want to keep everyone connected. Given the circumstances, we extended the grace period to the 17th. The fastest way to receive your bill is through MyGTT, where bills are available by the 5th day of the new month. We encourage you to take advantage of this service to receive your bills on time.

Modified store operations
In order to reduce the chance of community spread, stores will be open for a shorter time, will have fewer staff, and a limited amount of customers will be allowed in each location at a time. For more information about what this looks like for each store click here.

More Payment Options
We normally serve tens of thousands of customers in our stores each month. We want to avoid having many people in the same place at the same time.

As an alternative, we have over 230 MMG agents nationwide, which customers like you take advantage of each month to pay their bills. Many of these agents are right close to where you live and work.

We also have over 45,000 MMG customers who can make payments on your behalf. Some of them might be your close friends or family.

We encourage you to take advantage of this safe and convenient option to pay your bills. For FREE MMG registration, click here.

Live Chat
Wait times in the call center are likely to be longer than usual, so we encourage you to use LiveChat which you can access from a computer, tablet, or mobile device.

For nearly 30 years we supported each other. We have seen many challenges together. This will be no different. We will come out of this together.

Be safe and take care of yourself and family.

Sincerely,

Orson Ferguson
VP Customer Experience
